This class looks at what it means to be United Reformed. Where did we come from? Why did we change from being Christian Reformed to United Reformed? Was it simply a name change, or something more? We will look together at some of the distinctives of being a United Reformed Church. For example, what is our understanding of keeping the Sabbath day holy? Why do we baptize infants? What is our position on the days of creation? Why don’t children come to Lord’s Table? How are we to minister to homosexuals? In all of these, we will be looking at what the Bible teaches and how we are to apply that teaching in our lives. This class also includes times of systematic Bible study, learning from a particular book or section of Scripture. The class is intended for everyone high school age and up. The class meets Wednesday evenings from 6:45 - 7:40 PM, September through May.
